




On the evening of January 17, 2025, Ultech Engineering hosted its highly anticipated Annual Dinner at the luxurious Dynasty Hotel, Hall 4, Ground Floor. This year’s event was especially significant, as it marked a celebration of teamwork, achievements, and camaraderie, Ultech’s 11th Anniversary, and a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Pang Khee Siang the Former Director of Ultech Engineering. The occasion brought together the Ultech Engineering family, including employees, management, and special guests, for an unforgettable night. Spanning from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the event was packed with delicious food, engaging activities, and heartfelt moments, making it a truly memorable milestone in the company’s journey.




The event began at 6:30 PM with guest arrivals and registration. The hotel's elegant décor created an inviting atmosphere, setting the tone for the evening. Our Emcees warmly welcomed attendees, Mike Gaby Law Ik Pin and Yvonne Rosedy who graciously handled the registration process. Beyond the formalities, this initial interaction marked the start of a night brimming with excitement and opportunities for connection. As part of the registration, attendees filled out their names for the lucky draw, ensuring everyone could win delightful prizes.
Those eager to participate in the evening's games were encouraged to provide their names to the Emcees, adding an extra layer of anticipation to the occasion. The gathering buzzed with energy as colleagues exchanged greetings and shared laughter, creating a palpable sense of camaraderie and eagerness for the festivities ahead.




At 6:45 PM, the dinner services began, officially opening the event. Guests were treated to an impressive buffet menu curated by Café Rosita, offering a delectable spread of dishes. The menu catered to diverse palates, featuring four types of seasonal garden green salads, Braised Sea Cucumber with Shredded Chicken Soup, Thai Fried Seafood, Fried Kueh Tiaw, Korean Fried Chicken, and Beef Curry with Potatoes. Vegetarians were also well-accommodated, with offerings like Fried Mixed Vegetables and Braised Broccoli with Bean Curd Skin.
For dessert, there were three types of assorted mixed fruits, four varieties of cakes, and beverages including free-flowing orange cordial and traditional Chinese tea. The carefully crafted menu delighted every guest, setting the tone for an evening of indulgence and joy.






By 7:45 PM, the dinner transitioned seamlessly into the first segment of entertainment for the night: Lucky Draw #1. With six enticing prizes up for grabs, the excitement among the attendees was palpable. Mr. Pang Khee Siang took the stage to pick the lucky winners, adding a personal and engaging touch to the moment. One by one, the names were drawn, sparking cheers and applause as each winner was announced.
Sharon claimed the first prize, followed by Markwell Lamat as the second winner. Chan Kah Cheng secured the third spot, with Larry Anak Sikin taking fourth. Mr. Wang Zhi Xian and Mike Gaby Law rounded out the list as the fifth and sixth winners, respectively. This light-hearted yet thrilling segment showcased the spirit of fun and inclusivity that defined the event, with everyone eagerly rooting for their colleagues to win. The joy on the winners’ faces and the collective cheers of encouragement underscored the camaraderie and shared excitement that marked the evening.





At 8:00 PM, the spotlight shifted to a more sentimental segment of the evening—the farewell celebration for Mr. Pang, a cherished member and director of the Ultech Engineering family. This special moment was an opportunity to honour his contributions and bid him a heartfelt goodbye. The segment, titled “Santai-Santai Dulu” (a Malay phrase meaning "take it easy"), reflected the relaxed and sincere nature of the celebration.
The program began with a heartfelt speech by Yvonne, who shared warm words of appreciation for Mr. Pang’s dedication, camaraderie, and the lasting impact he had made on the team. Following this, Mr. Eddie our current Director stepped forward to present a thoughtful gift to Mr. Pang, symbolizing the team’s gratitude for his years of service. The moment was further sweetened as Mr. Pang and Mr. Eddie joined together to cut the celebratory cake, marking both the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter for Mr. Pang.

Before the evening transitioned into the photo session, Mr. Eddie took to the stage to deliver a heartfelt speech dedicated to Mr. Pang. He began by reflecting on Mr. Pang's invaluable contributions to Ultech Engineering, acknowledging his dedication, leadership, and the profound impact he had made on the team. With genuine warmth, Mr. Eddie expressed gratitude on behalf of the entire Ultech family and wished Mr. Pang success in his future endeavours.
Following this tribute, Mr. Eddie shifted focus to Ultech's accomplishments and ambitions, sharing an inspiring vision for the company’s future. He highlighted the company’s recent successes in 2024 and outlined ambitious goals for the year ahead, including pursuing the IECEx CoPC certification by mid-2025. His speech celebrated Ultech’s collective progress and the individuals who have been instrumental in driving the company forward, reinforcing a sense of unity, optimism, and shared purpose.


The farewell continued with a photo session, where technicians had the opportunity to take pictures with Mr. Pang, followed by a group photo of everyone together. The atmosphere was warm and nostalgic, filled with laughter and heartfelt smiles as the Ultech team came together to express their best wishes for Mr. Pang’s future endeavours. With the sentimental moments captured, everyone enjoyed the meal, cherishing the chance to connect and reflect on a meaningful evening.




As the evening progressed, the excitement reached its peak with Lucky Draw #2 at 8:30 PM. This time, four coveted prizes were up for grabs, heightening the anticipation in the room. Mr. Wang Zhi Xian took the stage to draw the lucky names, adding a dynamic touch to the moment.
Allan Shearer was announced as the first winner, claiming a fan, followed by Kenneth Chong, who walked away with a multi-blender as the second prize. Marianne took home a pillow as the third prize, while Maxwell secured the fourth prize, a hot pot steamboat. With the lucky draw celebrations concluded, everyone proceeded to enjoy their meal, savouring the shared experiences of the night.


The evening then shifted gears into a more playful and interactive phase, starting with the group games. At 9:00 PM, the game was Musical Chairs, which brought laughter, excitement, and a touch of friendly rivalry to the room. The game featured separate rounds for men and women, with two winners emerging from each group.
The men's round kicked off with six contestants; Allan Shearer, Howard Hu, Chan Kah Cheng, Kelvin Tiong, Chin Wei Ren, and Stephen Balang enthusiastically participating. As the music stopped, the competition grew increasingly intense. The last three standing were Kelvin, Howard, and Stephen. However, the decision couldn’t be made yet, as Howard and Stephen both managed to secure their spots on the chair. This led to an exhilarating tie-breaking round, where Kelvin and Howard ultimately emerged as the winners, earning loud cheers from the audience.


The women's round with five constant; Miss Adelene Tie, Audrey, Marianne, Nur Izazi Aliah, and Sharon vying for the win. The final three contestants were Miss Adelene, Audrey, and Nur Izazi. Just like the men’s round, the game ended in a thrilling tie as both Audrey and Miss Adelene simultaneously sat on the chair. Another round was held to determine the victors, with Audrey and Nur Izazi triumphing in the end, earning their well-deserved applause.
The energy and enthusiasm during the games perfectly embodied the event’s spirit of collaboration, fun, and camaraderie. These engaging moments were a source of entertainment and a reminder of the importance of teamwork and determination in achieving success.



The evening drew closer to its conclusion with the much-anticipated final Lucky Draw. Mr. Mossaimi the Director of SPT Maju was called up on stage to draw the final three lucky winners, adding a personal touch to this exciting moment. Excitement filled the room as the last three lucky winners were announced. The first winner was Michael Anak Embak who took home a smartwatch, the second winner was Cik Dayangku Siti Saleha who won a BBQ set, and finally, the third lucky winner a cordless vacuum won by Stephen Balang won a cordless vacuum. The lucky winners received their prizes amidst applause, marking the perfect conclusion to the series of draws.

Following the lucky draw, Mr. Mossaimi took the stage to deliver a heartfelt speech dedicated to Mr. Pang. He expressed gratitude for Mr. Pang’s invaluable contributions to Ultech Engineering and wished him success in his future endeavours. Mr. Mossaimi also introduced SPT Maju, giving the audience insights into the organization’s vision and aspirations.






The evening continued with a heartwarming Angpao session led by Mr. Eddie. He presented Angpao to Roy Jeffary, and Mr. Tan Sew Kee, acknowledging their dedication and contributions. Additionally, the winners of the Musical Chair game—Kelvin, Howard, Nur Izazi, and Audrey—were each presented with Angpao, adding a joyful and rewarding touch to their victories.
This final segment of the event was filled with gratitude, celebration, and unity, encapsulating the spirit of the evening. As the festivities wound down, attendees carried with them fond memories of camaraderie and celebration, making it a night to remember.




The final segment of the evening, from 9:45 PM to 10:30 PM, was aptly titled "Freedom Time." Guests were encouraged to relax, mingle, and enjoy themselves in an informal setting. Karaoke was a major highlight, with guests stepping up to the microphone to showcase their vocal talents. The lively karaoke session added a touch of spontaneity to the evening, as colleagues cheered for each other and joined in for duets.
The mingling session allowed attendees to bond and connect outside the confines of the workplace. It was a chance to forge deeper connections, share laughs, and reflect on the night’s events. The relaxed and joyous atmosphere during this time was a testament to the strong sense of community that defines Ultech Engineering.
