Commissioned by our esteemed business partner and primary contractor, Tractors Petroleum Services Sdn. Bhd., this venture aimed to retrofit a 6.6kV Motor Firewater Pump at Petronas Gas Berhad (PGB), Gas Processing Santong, located in Paka, Terengganu.
Challenges Faced with Pilot DEIF MVR200 PGB Santong Project
Medium-Voltage Mastery: Signifying a paradigm shift for Ultech Engineering, traditionally focused on low-voltage ventures, this endeavor marked the company's maiden foray into the realm of medium-voltage projects.

This includes changes on the control side, updates to circuit breaker components, modifications to the electrical upstream distribution side, and enhancements to the busbar electrical infrastructure leading to the switchboard.
Objective: The retrofit aims to elevate the reliability and efficiency of the substation, ensuring seamless integration with the existing system while benefiting from the advanced features of the DEIF MVR200.
Project Overview: The SCPA project involves the transformation of the Sotong Collector Platform-A into an unmanned platform, embracing the latest in power management technology.
IEC61850 Communication: Integration of IEC61850 communication protocols provides advanced communication capabilities.
Genset Controllers: The project incorporates AGC-4 MK II and MVR for genset control, offering a higher-end and innovative din rail type design.
